Jeff Beck will play three already-scheduled shows this weekend as a solo act after ZZ Top left their joint tour due to an injury to Dusty Hill. That includes Friday (August 29) in Salamanca, New York; Saturday (August 30) in Atlantic City; and Sunday (August 31) in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Tonight's concert in Clarkston, Michigan, was scrubbed after Hill injured his hip in a Tuesday fall on his tour bus. ZZ Top called off all remaining double-bill shows, and Beck is confirming the cancellation of appearances at Highland Park, Illinois; Boston; Columbia, Maryland; and Wantagh, New York, through September 4. Refunds are being serviced at point of purchase.

“While we are very disappointed to not continue this tour with ZZ Top," Beck said in a release, "our thoughts and best wishes are for Dusty to have a speedy recovery.”

Officials with Beck's camp, however, say that dates at West Palm Beach, Tampa, St. Augustine, Atlanta, Thackerville and Houston "will potentially be rescheduled," adding that "patrons should hold onto their ticket stubs for a possible future announcement." These shows would perhaps include both Beck and ZZ Top.
