Iron Maiden Announces 'Book of Souls' Preview Listening Parties

Iron Maiden will hold a string of nationwide preview listening parties for the upcoming Book of Souls after a pair of them quickly sold out at drummer Nick McBrain's Rock N Roll Ribs in Florida.

The events, which will give fans a chance to hear Iron Maiden's new double album in its entirety, are principally scheduled the day before The Book of Souls arrives on Sept. 4. The parties are scheduled for 24 retail outlets and 22 bars and restaurants across the U.S. A complete list of dates, locations and cities is attached below.

Each album pre-order at record store events comes with a limited-edition lithograph, while supplies last, though no alcohol will be served. Many of the bars and restaurants have scheduled live bands, local DJs and other giveaways – including Iron Maiden-related items like Trooper collectibles and Book of Souls-themed items.

Iron Maiden has also flown fan club members and competition winners – in a plane piloted by frontman Bruce Dickinson, of course – to Paris for an advance listen to The Book Of Souls. The specially chartered 737 was emblazoned with the band's logo.
