Def Leppard and Poison will begin a tour of North America in June, crossing the country in 32 days, with 18 shows in the U.S. and Canada. It's the second extended stretch of dates featuring the two '80s rock bands, who toured extensively together in 2009.

According to Def Leppard's official website, Lita Ford will open the shows, denying fans the 'Rock of Ages' type festival that Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen teased earlier this year. 'Rock of Ages' is the Tom Cruise movie based on the musical of the same name. Band's like Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi and Journey are also included on the highly anticipated film's soundtrack.

“We had such a good time going out with Poison in 2009 that we thought it only right to do it again,” singer Joe Elliott says. More dates are expected to be announced soon. There are no details about when tickets to the shows will go on sale.
