Beasto Blanco, the rock outfit fronted by Alice Cooper bassist Chuck Garric, is whetting fans' appetites for their upcoming second album with a pre-release track from the record — a cover of Cooper's "Feed My Frankenstein."

"I’ve been performing that song with Alice Cooper for years," says Garric. "I talked to Alice and said 'I’m thinking about covering 'Feed My Frankenstein' on the Beasto Blanco record.' Alice responded with 'I think that would be a great idea. I think you guys will really knock it out of the ballpark.’"

The band — whose lineup also features Cooper's daughter Calico — rounded up 11 originals for its self-titled second effort, which is scheduled to arrive Nov. 25. Working with producer Ryan Greene, Garric and his bandmates strove to take a sizable step forward from their 2013 debut; the end result, in Calico Cooper's words, is "like a baseball bat to the chest that you want more and more of."

"I’m very proud of this release. This new album showcases the bands evolution as songwriters and our unity as a musical force," adds Garric. "This album is a clash of elements coming together in an organic implosion of sonic perfection, Beasto Blanco is not about reinventing the wheel, we’re all about giving ’em cool rims!"
