Alice Cooper’s Inviting Golfers To Play At The Rock & Roll Classic
Despite having recently had a storage unit containing his archives robbed, Alice Cooper is extending an invite to interested golfers to register for the annual Rock & Roll Classic taking place Sunday (April 23) and Monday (April 24) at the Las Sendas Golf Club, rated as one of the top ten courses in Arizona. Cooper is looking for support to help continue providing his Solid Rock programs and services that help at-risk youth change their lives.
Cooper fans may remember Solid Rock from our previous reports as this is the same cause that Alice Cooper’s annual Christmas Pudding shows benefit. The objective for this golf classic is that it will sell out again, so that enough funds can be raised to help launch the new Rock at 32nd Teen Center in April.
Cooper doesn’t hold back while on the stage and he takes that same approach to the golf course. A registered guest can expect to play with PGA pros, NFL pros, celebrities and entertainers including Tommy Thayer from Kiss, Jack Blades from Night Ranger and of course Cooper himself. Meanwhile the swag, prizes, auction items and dinner will ensure a fun and memorable day for everyone.
Entry fees are $550.00 per golfer, which isn’t too bad considering what you get in return for giving to charity. Furthermore, all the proceeds go directly to Solid Rock and the new Rock Teen Center. A full schedule of events for the two-day classic in Las Sendas can be found on Cooper's Solid Rock Facebook page. Call 602-522-9200 and you’re less than a month away from keeping a tee time with Alice Cooper.
