Aerosmith and Elvis Costello's appearances on 'The Simpsons' are being immortalized in yellow plastic.

Both acts are part of the lineup for the fourth round of the show's ongoing 25 Greatest Guest Stars line of figures, which pays tribute to some of the many celebrities whose animated likenesses have surfaced on the long-running show. Other stars in this batch -- which is due to arrive in stores in October -- include astronaut Buzz Aldrin, singer Tom Jones and master pop parodist "Weird Al" Yankovic.

The line, which launched in early 2014, also includes Simpsonized versions of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, basketball star Yao Ming and skateboarder Tony Hawk. Aerosmith and Costello aren't the first classic rockers to roll off the assembly line, however: The Who beat them to it in the second series of figures.

Befitting their appearance in the 25 Greatest Guest Stars line, the most honorees guested on memorable 'Simpsons' episodes. Aerosmith showed up in the classic 1991 show 'Flaming Moe's,' while Costello added his voice to 2002's 'How I Spent My Strummer Vacation,' which also featured cameos from Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
