According to a study by Record Collector magazine, the most valuable record sleeve ever made is a special version of the Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.'

Hold on now, don't go running to your vinyl rack to pop yours on eBay thinking you've hit pay dirt! The sleeve in question, valued at 70,000 British pounds (around $115,000 US dollars), was created in December of 1967 to celebrate the huge success of the landmark album. The boys in the art department at Capitol Reocrds substituted many of the legendary characters in the original Peter Blake collage with the faces of US Capitol label bosses.

Legend has it that only around 100 copies of this commemorative item were made. To this day, only three copies have made their way into the hands of Beatles collectors. Where the rest of them are, we may never know!
