Stevie Nicks To Guest On ‘American Horror Story: Coven’
'American Horror Story: Coven' is in its third bewitching season, so what better time to bring in rock's very own "Welsh Witch" -- Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks? According to a post on Twitter by director Ryan Murphy, it appears that Nicks will be showing up in an episode of the FX horror/drama this season.
Murphy, it appears, has a long standing love of Nicks and her witchy ways. “When I was growing up, I was always obsessed with those Stevie Nicks songs like ‘Rhiannon’ and ‘Gypsy,’" he told Entertainment Weekly.
His obsession led to a special episode of 'Glee' that centered around the music of Fleetwood Mac. "I have a good relationship with Stevie because of 'Glee.' She is one of the few artists that have come to hang out. She’s just a wonderful, wonderful person.”
So far, there is no detailed information as to whether Nicks will appear on the show as herself, or another role entirely. Taking into consideration the character of Misty Day (played by Lily Rabe) and her own obsession with Nicks and her music, it would seem a fair guess that Nicks will pop up, 'Bewitched' style, as herself, as those dreams unwind.
