Peter Wolf Adds Fall 2026 Tour Dates
Peter Wolf has announced new concerts that will once again bring him back to the road this fall.
The short run of six dates will start Nov. 5 in Derry, N.H. and will continue to visit other cities in Connecticut and Massachusetts as well throughout the month. The concerts are presently set to wrap up Nov. 28 with a hometown date in Boston. More information is available at his official website and you can see the complete dates below.
Wolf returned to the stage earlier this year, playing his first gigs in more than a year. The former J. Geils Band frontman, joined by his longtime band, the Midnight Travelers, turned in a dozen well-received performances starting with a Feb. 13 concert in Fall River, Mass. He stayed out on the touring trail for selected dates that month and also March and April, closing out the tour in Brownfield, Maine on April 25.

What Fans Can Expect From Peter Wolf's Upcoming Shows
The 80-year old singer-songwriter is still putting on quite a show. His concert at the Fillmore in Detroit on April 17 gave fans a good return on their investment, coming just two days after Tax Day. The "Woofa Goofa" shared close to two and a half hours of music, borrowing generously from both his solo catalog and plenty of chestnuts from his J. Geils years as well.
He plugged his memoir, 2025's Waiting on the Moon: Artists, Poets, Drifters, Grifters, and Goddesses, the colorful tome that had kept him off the concert stage as he traveled around the country giving talks and interviews about the book instead.
"Fellas, if you are losing your hair, this will tell you how to fix it," he quipped during his performance in Detroit, adding humorously that it was a book for everyone. "Ladies, if you feel he ain't doin' it right, this will tell you what to take!"
As one would expect, Wolf's book is hardly a traditional memoir. Instead, he called it "a fan's notes," reflecting on parts of his career, yes. But more than that, it gave him a path forward for a book that he would be interested to write, offering observations on "people I admired or idolized."
There's a New Version of 'Full House'
Though J. Geils Band is officially in mothballs, fans can get an updated version of the band's classic Full House live album. It was reissued on vinyl by Rhino Records earlier this year, featuring liner notes by Wolf.
He picked Full House as "his favorite Geils record," one which captures the proper essence of the group. "I love that live record because it reminds me of a city that adopted us as our second home, Detroit," Wolf told Rolling Stone. "Playing in Detroit was the apex because they were a blue-collar city that took their rock and roll serious. We were just made for each other."
