New Music Releases – Summer 2011

Summertime means a ton of great new music releases from your favorite classic rock bands are in stores or on the horizon! Let's run down some of the albums you can blast at your summer picnics.

Journey gets the ball rolling this May with the release of their new album 'Eclipse.' Also that month, Ozzy Osbourne drops deluxe editions of his classic albums 'Diary of a Madman' and 'Blizzard of Ozz,' both stacked with bonus features.

June 7 brings us 'Mirror Ball,' the first proper live album from Def Leppard. On that same day, Black Sabbath gives deluxe treatment to the 'Born Again' album and Iron Maiden is releasing yet another best of compilation for the hungry masses looking for one more reason to buy "Bring Your Daughter.....To The Slaughter" again.

Also on that same date, so save up, Bob Seger puts fresh polish on two of his live albums, 'Live Bullet' and 'Nine Tonight,' the latter of which adds one bonus track.

Jumping ahead, you can also look forward to a previously unheard live album from Neil Young, set for mid-June and later in the summer, a new album from Jane's Addiction in August.
