Some of the biggest names in Southern rock and the world of jam bands will be setting forth on the high seas in search of the newest innovations in brewing. The first Lebrewski Cruise will take place from March 1-5, 2016 and feature music from Molly Hatchet, the Fabulous Thunderbirds as well as a focus on craft beer.

The Norwegian Pearl ship will set sail out of Miami and make stops at two locations in the Bahamas, Paradise Island and Great Stirrup Cay. In addition to the two bands mentioned above, will be performed by Blackfoot featuring Rickey Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd, O.A.R., Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers and many more. There will be daily performances on five stages, with meet-and-greets and other photo opportunities.

For those interested in the growing field of craft beer, there will be daily tastings, a home brewing workshop, a roundtable with four of America’s top brewmasters and a “Beer Olympics,” including beer pong and the World Series of Quarters. Participating breweries include Boulder Beer, Cigar City Brewing, Lagunitas and Stone Brewing, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Cascade Brewing and Funky Buddha. There will also be special events that pay tribute to the classic cult movie The Big Lebowski.

Those who book before Sept. 30 can take advantage of an early booking price as low as $499 per person for a double-occupancy room. To see the full lineup of bands and to learn more about the beer-related activities, visit the cruise’s website.
