Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs have confirmed a series of concert dates supporting the Who.

The Knobs will play a total of seven shows this fall alongside the Who beginning on Oct. 14 in St. Louis and wrapping up on Nov. 1 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

“The Dirty Knobs and I could not be more thrilled to be opening some shows for the Who this fall,” Campbell said in a press release. “Playing with them at the Hollywood Bowl will be especially poignant for me, since the last time I played there was with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, a week before Tom’s passing. The Who have always been a huge inspiration for me as a musician. It is a huge honor to have the opportunity to do the shows with them. It will be a high point of my life.”

In addition, Campbell and the Knobs will perform some headline shows over the summer, plus occasional dates supporting country star Chris Stapleton. A complete list of shows can be found below.

Campbell recently reconnected with another former Heartbreaker, drummer Stan Lynch, who has filled in for various performances and will continue to do so through the end of June. “Every night can be different,” Campbell told UCR earlier this year. “It’s a great band, and I just can’t wait to play.”
