Lady Gaga is considering the possibility of touring with the legendary rock band Queen as their new singer, according to guitarist Brian May, who reports, "(she) has said she would like to do something with us."

According to Uncut, May, who collaborated with Lady Gaga on her recent single ‘You & I,' says the popular and controversial singer is someone who the band has approached to front them.

Queen, who have yet to enlist a singer since the departure of Paul Rodgers in 2009, (although they are in the process of recruiting their own tribute band) talk about going on the road all the time, “But there’s a bit of a singer problem, to put it mildly” says May. They get a lot of offers to work with people, but the idea of working with Lady Gaga holds a lot of appeal.

“I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we've talked about singing, fronting the band with. She's not just a singer, she writes her own material." If and when this musical merge takes place, Queen's 1984 classic hit ‘Radio Ga Ga’ is destined to get a twisted makeover.
