Don't mess with Gene Simmons! There's the chance he may spit blood all over you, or have you arrested! Kevin George Poe, an alleged member of the hacker group 'Anonymous,' was arrested Tuesday charged with hacking into the website of the Kiss rocker. He was taken into custody in Hartford, Ct. and charged with conspiracy and 'unauthorized impairment of a protected computer.' He later was released on a $10,000 bond.

According to Business Week, Poe, age 24, assaulted the website with what is called a 'denial of service attack' which shut down the website in October of 2010. A federal grand jury in Los Angeles returned an indictment that linked Poe with 'Anonymous.' If convicted, he faces up to fifteen years in prison.

'Anonymous' are a group of hacker-activists, or 'hacktivsits,' who have previously launched attacks on various corporate and government websites. Some of their previous targets include Master Card, Visa, The Church Of Scientology, the Recording Industry Association of America and the Motion Picture Association of America.

Simmons has long been outspoken on the subject of internet music piracy, which could possibly be the motive for this attack. Last year during a panel discussion at a media conference in Cannes, France, Simmons accused the music industry of being "asleep at the wheel."

In a panel discussion posted on You Tube he added that the music industry "didn’t have the balls to go and sue every fresh-faced, freckle-faced college kid who downloaded material, and so now we’re left with hundreds of thousands of people without jobs. There’s no industry." Breathing fire, he added, "Sue everybody. Take their homes, their cars, don’t let anybody cross that line."

Who did Poe think he was tangling with!! They don't call him 'The Demon' for nothing!
