It looks as if The Mothers of Invention frontman and all-around musical genius Frank Zappa unknowingly fathered a son who would grow up to be a movie star, with lead roles in blockbuster hits such as 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,' 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' and the 'Transformers' trilogy.

Alright, perhaps that's a stretch. But what's factual is the astonishing way Shia LaBeouf has begun to resemble Zappa recently. It would seem that Dweezil's father left a certain style that is now heavily desired by young Hollywood actors, hipsters and artists.

From the scuff of their beards all the way down to the split ends of their ever growing hairdos, it appears 20, 30 and 40-somethings are all jumping in on this grungy yet preppy look. Needless to say, should there ever be a (terribly acted) Frank Zappa biopic, we've got a candidate in mind.
