Warner Home Video have just released a new Blu-ray version of the 1970 Academy Award-winning documentary, 'Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music.' You can watch a preview of Crosby, Stills & Nash's performance of 'Marrakesh Express' above.

This new incarnation is called the '40th Anniversary Revisited' edition. It combines 2009's '40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition' with a considerable dose of previously unseen or rarely seen performances by Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, Santana, the Who, Jefferson Airplane, Country Joe and the Fish, Canned Heat and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

The new footage adds even more new music to the two bonus hours found in the 2009 set, which had a host of featurettes about the making of both the festival and the movie. The segments contained interviews with such notables as 'Woodstock' director Michael Wadleigh, Martin Scorcese, Eddie Kramer and Hugh Hefner.

Also included in the new package are replicas of the festival's original tickets, and article from Life magazine and an iron-on patch of the Woodstock logo. You can buy the new 'Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music' blu-ray from WBShop.
