It's been a while since anyone's taken shots at Kanye West. Enter Slipknot singer Corey Taylor, who recently posted a 40-second video in which he disputes the rapper's recent declaration that he, Kanye West, was “the greatest living rock star on the planet.”

In the video, which you can watch above, Taylor stares straight into the camera and calmly announces, "Kanye, you are not the greatest living rock star ... The fact that you had to tell people that kinda says it all."

West's onstage claim came during his performance at the Glastonbury Festival on June 27, where he also took on Queen's classic "Bohemian Rhapsody." During the show, West made sure the audience knew exactly what sort of legend they were seeing onstage. Apparently, Taylor disagrees. He ends his exceptionally calm Kanye scolding with a stern "stop it!"

Taylor will probably spark much support in the music world for his takedown. West has seemingly gone out of his way in recent years to piss off everyone from Taylor Swift to Paul Stanley. The last time he angered the rock world was back in February at the Grammys, when he criticized Beck's winning of Album of the Year, an honor West thought should have gone to Beyonce.
