Rockers We’ve Lost in 2013: Producer Andy Johns

Veteran producer and engineer Andy Johns passed away on April 8 at age 61. Though no cause of death has yet been reported, Johns had recently been ill for various reasons, including liver trouble.

Over the course of Johns' career, he worked with a long list of legends including Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Joe Satriani, Steve Miller, and Van Halen. He was  the younger brother of another legendary producer, Glyn Johns, and is survived by his wife, three sons and two grandchildren.
