Guitar great Alvin Lee passed away on March 6 at age 68. His passing was unexpected and occurred after unforeseen complications following a routine surgical procedure. In 1966, Lee formed Ten Years After and became part of the British blues boom of the era. Several albums followed and after their appearance at the Woodstock festival, people really began to take notice of the band. Songs like 'I'd Love To Change The World' and 'Hear Me Calling' became rock classics. Lee left the band in 1974 but carried on with a solo career until his death.
