Sting to Play Grammy Awards With Rihanna, Bruno Mars
It will truly be a made-for-television moment when Sting hits the stage alongside pop stars Bruno Mars and Rihanna at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. It's not clear what the motley trio will perform. The collaboration was revealed among the announcements of other Grammy performers on Monday.
The Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS, beginning at 8PM ET on Sunday (Feb. 10). Another, slightly less unorthodox pairing is Elton John with fellow-Brit Ed Sheeran. As of now those are the only classic rockers expected to be featured during the three-hour-long telecast.
Although not nominated for a Grammy in 2013, Sting has 11 Grammys as a solo artist to go along with six as a member of the Police. Last month he announced his Back to Bass tour would continue into July while revealing new dates in North America and Europe. The Black Keys and Jack White were amongst the other stars named as performers at the 2013 Grammys.
