Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ band British Lion have announced that their second album, The Burning, will be released on Jan. 17.

They also detailed their first-ever U.S. tour, which begins on Jan. 18 and runs until Feb. 20.

All dates, plus the LP's track listing, can be seen below.

You can listen to the album's lead track, “Lightning,” below.

“We’ve been working on The Burning for the past couple of years and everyone is really pleased with the results,” singer Richard Taylor said in a statement. “We started playing some of the songs live on recent tours and got a fantastic reaction from our fans, so we are really excited to be sharing this album with the world. We’re also looking forward to heading out on the road again in the U.K. and U.S. and seeing everyone at the shows.”

The album was recorded, engineered and mixed at Barnyard Studios by Tony Newton and produced by Steve Harris. "The Burning is crammed with powerful hard rock melodies," the statement added, noting that two songs, "Lightning" and "Spit Fire" are available as immediate downloads with pre-orders.
