Queen + Adam Lambert to Stream Live New Year’s Eve Show
If you're not one of the 1,800 people who will get to see Queen + Adam Lambert ring in the New Year at London's Westminster Central Hall, you're in luck. The show will be streamed live on BBC Music.
"I never imagined we would be around to usher in the year of 2015," drummer Roger Taylor said. "What a thrill! We promise you a great night."
The broadcast will begin at 6:15PM Eastern, 45 minutes before the clock strikes midnight in England. Yesterday (Dec. 24), Queen put out a trailer (posted above) featuring the Lambert-fronted band singing 'I Was Born to Love You.' The song was originally released on Freddie Mercury's 1985 solo album, 'Mr. Bad Guy.' The surviving members of Queen reworked the song for 1995's 'Made In Heaven.'
BBC Music was launched back in October with a variety of artists, including Queen's Brian May and Elton John, performing the Beach Boys' 'God Only Knows.'
