One Led Zeppelin fan will soon be delicately ogling what should be the centerpiece of any rock music collection. A rare copy of the band's 1968 debut album just sold on eBay for over $3400. In addition to having a hard-to-come-by misprint, the sound is immaculate and the jacket is in near mint condition.

The turquoise lettering is just part of what makes this album so rare. The first press also features "Superhype label credits and uncorrected matrixes." The seller promises only microscopic scratches on the vinyl and minimal fading or blemishing on the album cover.

The hits on 'Led Zeppelin' include 'Good Times Bad Times' and 'Dazed and Confused' on side A, and 'Communication Breakdown' on side B, although any moderate Zep fan will be recognize each and every one of the nine songs. "This is the most perfect example that I have ever seen and I think that it is very unlikely that you'll find a better one," the seller says.

Despite being extremely rare, a motivated shopper will find another similar copy on eBay with minimal searching. That copy suffers from minimal wear and is priced below this near flawless copy.
