Iron Maiden will stream the final show of their lengthy tour in support of The Book of Souls, live from 2016's Wacken Open Air Festival on Thursday (Aug. 4) in Germany.

The concert marks the end of trek that began in late February and has touched down on six continents. ARTE Concert is sponsoring the stream, which will be available via and

"Everywhere we’ve played the fans have been amazing and the reaction to the new songs and stage show has been phenomenal. The band has loved every minute on stage," Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood said, via the official Wacken website. "So, when Wacken and ARTE asked us to consider a live stream of our performance there, we jumped at the chance to give our fans an end of tour gift."

Iron Maiden plays Romania and Luxembourg prior to hitting the Wacken festival. Before taking the stage, they've been presenting an animated intro clip that plunges the viewer into the jungle, where the band's brand-new Ed Force One plane has been trapped by vines and can't take off — at least, not until it's been given a rather large helping hand.

The band previewed the new tour via a series of behind-the-scenes Periscope videos posted to their Facebook page; Iron Maiden also unveiled the set list there, one song at a time, with individual graphics for each number.
