Several members of Guns N' Roses used some of the their down time while in Dallas for a concert on Saturday to stop by the Medical City Children's Hospital in the city, no doubt brightening up the patients' days.

Photos from the day show several touring Gunners -- including guitarist DJ Ashba, bassist Tommy Stinson and keyboardist Dizzy Reed -- visiting with patients at the pediatric center. Singer Axl Rose doesn't appear in any of the pictures, and there's no word on where he may be. Check out an entire online spread of hospital-visit pics here.

"This is DJ, I'm hanging out with the band ... [and] visiting a bunch of cool people here. Say 'hi,'" says Ashba of the visit in a video clip, which then pans around the room and shows nurses and patients waving to the camera.

Dizzy Reed also took time in advance of the show to speak with the Dallas Observer about playing with Axl and the new band, potential plans for another GN'R album and more. Check out what he had to say here.

GN'R are in the midst of a North American tour that's scheduled through a Dec. 17 gig in Vancouver, Canada.
