What Was 2017’s Best New Live Album / Video? UCR Fan Choice Awards
Every year brings a slew of new releases from bands that are still putting fannies in the seats. Now it's up to you to vote for 2017's Best New Live Album / Video in the Ultimate Classic Rock Fan Choice Awards.
While all of the 14 nominees find a classic rock act in fine form onstage, some capture historic moments, such as Black Sabbath's last-ever concert, David Gilmour returning to the site of one of Pink Floyd's most famous concerts and Ritchie Blackmore's return to rock with a new lineup of Rainbow after two decades of playing Renaissance folk music. The Rolling Stones and the Who also offered full-album performances of one of their most iconic works.
Remember that this category is only for concerts or tours that have taken place within the last few years. We'll be unveiling the nominees for Best Archival Live Album at a later date.
Check out the full list of nominees, and the clips we've embedded, below and then make your decision. Voting for each of the 2017 Ultimate Classic Rock Fan Choice Awards categories ends on Jan. 2, 2018, at 11:59PM ET. As always, the winner will be decided solely by reader’s votes.
