Day five of the 2011 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards kicks off with your chance to choose the best re-issue or archival release issued by a classic rock artist or group in the past year.

Of course, narrowing the candidates down to just six was nearly impossible -- we're expecting to hear from angry Queen and Thin Lizzy fans, among many others -- but there's still plenty of great choices for your consideration.

Chronologically, Derek and the Dominoes kick off our candidate list with the expanded version of their classic 'Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs' collection, followed closely by the long-awaited and wonderfully restored DVD and Blu-ray of AC/DC's Bon Scott-era concert film 'Let There Be Rock.'

Neil Young traveled back into his vaults to unearth a powerful live set, 'A Treasure,' which featured several new songs, the Rolling Stones did the same for 'Some Girls' and most shockingly of all, the Beach Boys finally released their long-awaited 'Smile.'

That's a lot to choose from, but we know you can do it. You have until 11:59 PM EST on Jan. 1, 2012 to make your choice for the Best Re-Issue or Archival Release. There's lots of other great categories to vote in as well, and we'll announce all the winners on Jan. 3.
