Jack Black is half of the comedy rock duo Tenacious D, and has had a starring role in two important rock movies. He stole every scene of 2000's 'High Fidelity,' his breakthrough role, but 2003's 'School of Rock' made him a star. 

Tenacious D have released three albums since 2001, including the platinum-selling self-titled LP and 'The Pick of Destiny,' which serves as a soundtrack to the band's movie of the same name.

Black has hinted over the past few years that there could be a 'School of Rock' sequel.
