It’s Flea’s Tattoo!

The Jimi Hendrix tribute belongs to Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.

Later this year Flea and his Chili Pepper counterparts will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, joining his hero Hendrix. Flea had the guitar legend's face tattooed on his shoulder in 1981, a few years before the Red Hot Chili Peppers came together formally as a band.

With yet another new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, the Chili Peppers are currently out on the road in support of their 2011 release ‘I’m With You,’ marking their tenth studio album.
