Jason's four-decade long killing spree has included trips to New York City, Hell, outer space and Elm Street.

Film brought elements from the franchise's first three movies into a modern setting.

It took $6 million and almost 20 attempts for the studio to get a suitable script for the horror movie crossover.

"For me, it is way past an embarrassment," admitted the film's producer.

"It's not 'Jason Takes Manhattan,' it's 'Jason Takes a Cruise Ship,'" the movie's director later admitted.

"I remember then finding out it was a 'Friday the 13th' and being really disappointed," said one of the movie's stars.

"I'm not gonna put up with this bulls--- any longer. She's an 18-year-old-kid and she's dying in that water," said the actor playing Jason.

The famous critic openly attempted to sabotage the success of 'Friday the 13th' by breaking a movie review norm.

Jason Voorhees has killed a lot of people. Some of them had it coming.

Legal problems and studio red tape have kept both the 'Friday the 13th' and 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' franchises off the big screen.
