If you missed your chance this past summer to see Peter Frampton re-create his epic ‘Frampton Comes Alive’ album, have no fear – the concert dates were so successful that Frampton will continue with another round of shows in early 2012.

Tentatively set to begin on Feb. 1 in York, Pa., there are nine new shows booked for the trek which is currently set to wrap up in Long Beach, Calif. on Mar. 14.

The former Humble Pie guitarist has fond memories of the album as it celebrates its 35th birthday this year.

"There is something that comes across on that record. When Bob Mayo and I went in with Stanley Sheldon into Wally Heider's studio a few days after we recorded it at Winterland, [engineer] Ray Thompson put up all the faders and said, 'Check this out.' I just remember not by volume, but the energy that was coming from the speakers -- it just knocked us backwards, figuratively speaking. There's something magical. You can't listen to 'Frampton Comes Alive!' without smiling."
