Nirvana's landmark 'Nevermind' album will be getting the five-disc deluxe reissue treatment on Sept. 19, just five days before the twentieth anniversary of its release date. (Yes, you're that old.)

The four CD, one DVD box set will feature rarities, b-sides and previously unreleased recordings. How much of this material was already released on the band's 2004 'With the Lights Out' box set is unknown at this time. According to Spin, the DVD, at least, consists of a complete concert that has not been released before.

'Nevermind' was the album that pretty much buried hair-metal, and broke the dam for the commercial success of an entirely new wave of classic rock bands such as Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Of course, a few short years later, band leader Kurt Cobain took his own life. Drummer Dave Grohl has since gone on to major success as the frontman of his own band, Foo Fighters.
