Rod Stewart Penning ‘Hold Nothing Back’ Memoir
Add Rod Stewart to the list of rockers with a new memoir on the way. Details are minimal, but Stewart reportedly has a deal with Random House subsidiary Crown Archetype to publish the book in the fall of 2012. Financial terms were not disclosed and the project currently is untitled.
The ex-Faces/Jeff Beck Group and long-successful solo artist surely has a tome’s worth of tales about rock ‘n’ roll debauchery — or at the very least stories about bedding a bevy of beautiful woman, including first wife Alana Hamilton, actress Britt Ekland, and models Dee Harrington, Kelly Emberg, Rachel Hunter and Penny Lancaster-Stewart, his current wife.
“It is a funny old thing telling my life story but I truly intend to hold nothing back,” Stewart said in a statement. “Forget skeletons in the closet; this one’s going to be socks and knickers under the bed.”
Stewart wrapped up a highly successful co-headlining tour with Stevie Nicks earlier this year and recently kicked off a two-year concert residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas titled simply Rod Stewart: The Hits.
Maybe he could title his memoir Rod Stewart: The Memoir.
