Van Halen might be spending the holidays stubbornly refusing to give us any real information about their long-rumored new album, but the guys in Chickenfoot are as busy as ever -- and they've taken a moment away from the preparations for their 2012 tour to send some seasons' greetings to their fans.

In a video posted to the band's YouTube channel this week, 'Foot guitarist Joe Satriani, vocalist Sammy Hagar, and bassist Michael Anthony shared their thoughts heading into the holiday season, including a look back at their recent Road Test tour dates and their excitement about heading to Europe after the New Year.

And that's not all: Sammy promises that a video the band has posted to its official site reveals the truth about what happened to 'Chickenfoot II,' the record the band skipped over between their self-titled debut and this year's Top Ten hit 'Chickenfoot III.'

So check out Chickenfoot's holiday greetings, and if you're in Europe, brace yourself -- the 'Foot is heading your way in January, when the next leg of the Road Test tour kicks off with a Jan. 12 date at the Academy in Manchester. Now when do we get to hear 'Chickenfoot V'?

Chickenfoot Wishes You Happy Holidays 2011
