Just a few days after sending their new single "Divine Termination" to streaming services, Chickenfoot have premiered the song's official video.

As previously reported, "Divine Termination" is the lead release from the group's upcoming Best + Live compilation, which bundles together studio cuts from their two albums and tacks on an assortment of live recordings — including three tracks appended to the first CD and an entire concert on the second disc, recorded during their 2009 tour. Chickenfoot brought together frequent collaborators and former Van Halen bandmates Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony alongside guitarist Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Billed as a supergroup, the band carried itself as more of a fun side gig — something Hagar reinforced in the quote he offered for the Best + Live press release.

"Listening to this collection of songs from the ‘Foot brings back memories of some of the most fun I've ever had in a band," says Hagar. "The chemistry between Chad, Joe, Mike and me is very special. It's almost like visual music — you can see us having fun when you listen to these songs."

Though they've been on hiatus in recent years, the group found time to schedule a show last summer, where they debuted "Divine Termination" — and since it's obviously a struggle for the members of Chickenfoot to carve out time from their day jobs, it's no surprise that the "Termination" video relies on footage from the concert.

Best + Live arrives in stores March 10 and is available to pre-order now.
