Bun E. Carlos Vs. Charlie Watts: March Drum Madness

Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos faces off against Rolling Stones star Charlie Watts in the second round of Ultimate Classic Rock's March Drum Madness competition.

We placed 32 of the most famous drummers in classic rock history into our March Drum Madness bracket. We're down to the "Sweet 16" already, and that number will be cut in half four more times until we arrive at your choice for the greatest rock drummer of all time.

Watts, without whom Keith Richards says there will be no Rolling Stones, narrowly defeated Motley Crue daredevil Tommy Lee in the first round. His next opponent is longtime Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos, who pulled off a minor upset by narrowly edging out founding Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler in his first battle.

You can vote once per hour in each of our eight current March Drum Madness battles until the second round closes on March 26 at 11:59PM ET. The ultimate winner will be revealed on April 7.
