Van Morrison – August 2012 Classic Rock Birthdays

On Aug. 31, Van Morrison will be celebrating his 67th birthday. It's hard to believe that it's been 48 years since 'Van the Man' began with the group that would introduce him to the international music scene, Them.

After an amazing career, this singer/songwriter was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 and voted No. 42 on Rolling Stone's list of the "Greatest Artists in Rock 'n' Roll." He's obviously got no plans to slow down either, having just announced a new album, 'Born to Sing: No Plan B'.
