David Lee Roth posted the two-word message “Get Ready…” on his official website Saturday, furthering rumors that a new Van Halen single may be coming soon.

A few weeks ago, Eddie Trunk, host of VH1 Classic’s ‘That Metal Show,’ tweeted that he heard rumors that “Van Halen may release a new song for 4th of July weekend.”

While none of this can be confirmed, we do know that rocker Mark Tremonti has called Van Halen’s upcoming album a return to the band’s “old-school” sound. The Alter Bridge/Creed guitarist, who heard VH rehearse the album, says the band made use of their old demos to help pen songs for the upcoming disc.

Meanwhile, in other news, Eddie Van Halen’s ex-wife, Valerie Bertinelli, just posted photos of her hanging out with Eddie and their son/current VH bassist, Wolfgang, along with Bertinelli’s husband, Tom, EVH’s wife, Janie, and WVH’s girlfriend.
