Rolling Stones Concert Film Coming to Theaters and DVD

Chances are, you weren’t able to make it out to one of the Rolling Stones‘ 50th anniversary shows. Not to worry, though — you’ll soon be able to experience the best moments from a pair of the tour’s concerts in the comfort of your own home.

Sweet Summer Sun — Hyde Park Live,’ culled from the band’s July 2013 shows in the titular London venue, is set to arrive in stores on Nov. 11, where it will be available in a variety of formats. Depending on what strikes your Stones fancy, you can pick up the set on DVD, on Blu-ray, as a two-CD/DVD combo pack or a three-LP/DVD set. Collecting 16 songs in all, it promises to deliver “the perfect way to celebrate the return of the Rolling Stones back where they truly belong: live onstage in their hometown.”

And if you’re lucky enough to live near one of the select theaters showing it, you might be able to catch ‘Sweet Summer Sun’ on the big screen, where it will be playing starting Nov. 6. To find out where it’s playing near you, visit the Stones on Screen website and enter your zip code.

The Hyde Park shows found the band playing for more than 100,000 fans and featured cameos by former guitarist Mick Taylor, who joined his old bandmates for performances of ‘Midnight Rambler’ and ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.’ “Coming back to Hyde Park was like a full circle being drawn, and the band were in top form,” reflected Keith Richards in a press release. “We thought what could be more appropriate than having a great summer in London?”
