It may not always come easy, but that hasn't stopped our beloved Ringo Starr from rocking on year after year. Whether on tour with his 'All Starr Band' or in the studio recording new material, the ever youthful Mr. Starr just keep rolling along musically.

Hip-O/UME has Jan. 30th set for the release of 'Ringo 2012', the 17th solo album by the 71 year old legend. his preview release was 2010's 'Y Not.'

Available in stores (CD & vinyl) and via download sites, 'Ringo 2012' finds the once and forever Beatle getting by with a little help from his friends. Van Dyke Parks, Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Edgar Winter, Don Was and Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, to name a few, are all lending a hand or two here.

'Ringo 2012' will feature 9 new recordings including a cover of the Buddy Holly classic 'Think It Over' and a take on the old standard 'Rock Island Line'.  The remaining 7 tracks were written or co-written by Starr.  The album was recorded in Los Angeles and mixed in England by Ringo and producer Bruce Sugar.
