The critically acclaimed documentary on the tribulations of rocker Ozzy Osbourne is now available in stores on DVD and Blu-ray.

'God Bless Ozzy Osbourne' played in theaters for just two nights back in August, leaving many fans of Osbourne's and Black Sabbath wanting for an encore.

Osbourne's son Jack Osbourne helped direct the film, which features an uncensored look at everything good and bad about the legendary rocker. It begins with his humble (to say the least) childhood and follows his career as Black Sabbath's enigmatic frontman, a solo artist, a reality television star and finally a caring husband and father.

While some fans will begin the viewing excited to hear the wild stories Osbourne has to tell, they'll be left with a more complete understanding of what pushed the 62-year-old to drugs and alcohol, and finally what (or who) pushed him to clean up.

The DVD and Blu-ray release also features previously unseen footage and new interviews, and footage of both Black Sabbath and Osbourne on stage that weren't used in the theatrical release.

Among the highlights here is an emotional sitdown with Ozzy and Jack Osbourne, where Ozzy explains how Jack's words helped get him sober for the first time in years. There's also behind-the-scenes footage from the Tribeca Film Festival.

You can read our review of the original movie, which we highly recommend to any fans of Osbourne, right over here.

Recently, Osbourne and the original Black Sabbath lineup announced a world tour that will begin in June, 2012. They'll also record a new album that is rumored to be scheduled for a fall 2012 release.
