There's plenty of new music releases coming in February 2012, highlighted by the return of the mighty Van Halen and journeys into the vaults of classic rock titans such as Pink Floyd and Kiss.

The biggest release of the month, without a doubt, is the first new Van Halen album to feature original frontman David Lee Roth since 1984's '1984.' 'Tattoo,' the first song from the album (which comes out Feb. 7), finds Eddie Van Halen in fine form and also hints that the band is going back to their early demos for song ideas this time out.

A close second, though, is the massive "Immersion" edition box set of Pink Floyd's 1979 epic 'The Wall.' The seven-disc set features a wealth of demo recordings -- including the just-released 'Young Lust' -- that track the album's progress in the studio.

Kiss will also release a two-CD deluxe edition of their 1976 masterpiece 'Destroyer,' with super-producer Bob Ezrin dusting off unreleased versions of tracks from the album. The record's original cover art, deemed "too controversial" back in the day, will be restored for this edition.
