Kiss are back and ready to rock for audiences around the country as ‘The Tour’ officially kicked off Friday night (July 20) in Bristow, Va.

While the group are leading up to the new ‘Monster’ album, they relied heavily on the hits and barely touched the new stuff as only the current single ‘Hell or Hallelujah‘ got some play during the 12-song set list.

As for the hits, fans were all hyped up when the band rolled out onstage to the classic ‘Detroit Rock City,’ and ‘Shout It Out Loud’ kept things rolling. Other highlights from the set include the without makeup era favorite, ‘Lick It Up,’ the stellar ‘Black Diamond,’ and the set closer, ‘Rock and Roll All Nite.’

Having thrilled a military audience during a warm-up the night before, Kiss hit the ground running and showed off the traditional showmanship, musical prowess, and of course, plenty of pyro for the 20,000 fans attendance.
