The Kinks‘ classic tune ‘You Really Got Me’ is one of the songs that Rock Star Mickey, aka Mickey Mouse with a guitar in his hands to some vintage fans, plays to teach your kids — or maybe even you — all the cool rocker moves. The new toy, all decked out in fine rock ‘n’roll apparel including shades, wields his six-string ax as he kicks, bobs his head and ends the jam session with a classic split!

Now we’ll let you in on a secret — the real playing is by New Jersey rocker Constantine Maroulls. He was the sixth place-finalist on the fourth season of ‘American Idol’ and is the lead vocalist of the rock band Pray for the Soul of Betty. But do we detect a slight Van Halen influence? VH are known to cover the tune and Mickey’s version (check out the video below) is a little more rocking than the original.

The toy is appropriate for kids ages 2 and older, according to Fisher Price. So get the party started, Disney-style! You can order the Disney Rock Star from one of these merchant sites.
