Despite rocking millions of faces over the years, Jon Bon Jovi points out that he has never really been a 'critics' darling.' The Bon Jovi frontman likens the lack of critical respect that he gets as a musician to that of box-office star Tom Cruise as an actor.

"There are critics' darlings. That I won't be. I got that," remarks JBJ in a new interview with the Edinburgh Evening News. "With the band, it's like Tom Cruise. I've had all the commercial success you could dream of, but hey, the guy still doesn't have an Oscar. Whatcha gonna do?"

Meanwhile, according to a Facebook post, JBJ strained his MCL an hour into Bon Jovi's concert last night (June 17) in a rainy Helsinki, Finland. The singer soldiered on for the remainder of the show and is not expected to miss any gigs on the band's ongoing European tour.

Bon Jovi's European trek wraps up July 31 in Lisbon, Portugal. Guitarist Richie Sambora recently rejoined the group's tour after spending several weeks in rehab.
