Awwwww… Rock’s Most Heartwarming Photos

Subscribe to Ultimate Classic Rock on

The rock n’ roll lifestyle isn’t all decadence. There are plenty of moments when the rough exterior we’re used to seeing is dropped and we get to experience the other side of our favorite rockers. We’ve compiled photos of some of these instances into one video, which we’ve embedded above.

Nothing typifies this more than the sight of the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, holding his baby granddaughter Pearl. There’s also a reunion between Ace Frehley and Peter Criss that was 13 years in the making, and Joe Walsh visiting wounded troops in the hospital.

In addition, Alice Cooper and Elton John are pictured with their mothers, and we see Eddie Van Halen and King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill celebrate their health after hospital stays. We’re still trying to figure out why Sammy Hagar is holding a couple of pineapples with James Hetfield, but that’s for another day.

You’ll find all of these and more in the video. Check it out above.
