Imposing frontman and all-around rambunctious human being James Hetfield has made quite a mark in the music world as the rhythm guitarist, songwriter and lead singer for Metallica.
His 49th birthday falls on Aug. 3, and things seem to still be blazing for James, Metal

For years Metallica has been amongst the toughest acts in hard rock, and now they've built a pair of sunglasses to rock hard in. James Hetfield has partnered with Sutro Eyeware to create the JH Sutro sunglasses, available in black or tortoise. The band's merchandise page calls them Hetfield's "ideal pair of sunglasses."
It turns out that Metallica's James Hetfield isn't just the "master of puppets," he's also got a pretty solid hold over garden gnomes as well … at least most of them.

While on a nice little relaxing vacation over Christmas with his family in Punta del Este, Uruguay, Hetfeild was followed by photographers, which did not sit well the the Metallica frontman.
