The Doobie Brothers will continue their remarkable crossover into the world of country music with an appearance on television’s rock n' roll / country hybrid show ‘CMT Crossroads,’ which will air June 24.

Recorded live in front of an invite-only audience in Nashville, The Doobies come together with country star Luke Bryan to perform Doobie favorites such as ‘Black Water,’ ‘Long Train Runnin’ ‘ and ‘China Grove.' Additionally, the band will collaborate with Bryan to perform several selections from his catalog of hits, including the recent opus ‘Country Girl (Shake It For Me).’

"We are so pleased, and fortunate to be able to share the stage with Luke Bryan on 'Crossroads,'” says Patrick Simmons of The Doobie Brothers. “We love the challenge of performing such wonderfully crafted songs with an artist like Luke, and his band. He's one of the most exciting artists on the country music scene these days."

The Doobies recently wrapped up a video for their latest single ‘World Gone Crazy,’ which appears on their current album of the same name.  Our friends at Taste of Country spoke with Patrick Simmons about their current success at country radio in an interview that you can read here.
