Chickenfoot Unveil Single Art and New Audio Clip for ‘Big Foot’
Chickenfoot's new single, 'Big Foot,' officially comes out Tuesday, but you can head over to Amazon (link below) to hear a longer audio clip of the tune than the previous teasers revealed. In addition, the artwork for the single (left) has been unveiled.
'Big Foot' is the lead single off the supergroup's second album, confusingly titled 'Chickenfoot III,' which drops Sept. 27. Chickenfoot singer Sammy Hagar recently called the disc “the best record I’ve ever made."
In other news, Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina Birthday Bash tickets have a new on sale date and it's Aug. 16. Those who would like to celebrate his birthday with the Red Rocker need to head on over to his official site on that date. Hagar turns 64 years young on Oct. 13.
Finally, Hagar is one of seven residents of Mill Valley, Calif. to receive a 2011 Milley Award, according to The Mill Valley Patch. The Milleys, which have existed since 1988, honor locals for their achievements in creative fields. The ceremony is set for Oct. 23, just 10 days after Sammy's birthday. October is shaping up to be quite the busy month for the Red Rocker.
