On Saturday night (Dec. 31), millions were treated to a special collaboration during 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' special, when guitar legend Carlos Santana and pop star Justin Bieber took the stage together for a rare performance.

But it wasn't any of Bieber's hits that the twosome delivered live from New York. Instead, they dug deep into musical greatness for an emotional and moving performance of the Beatles classic 'Let it Be.' Fans who gathered around the stage as well as their TV's at home were able to see the teen star in a different light for the performance in which the words were softly sung by the young singer.

The song began with Bieber playing the song solo for the packed crowd, before Santana -- wearing a hooded Bob Marley sweatshirt -- joined in doing what he does best, all while paying tribute to yet another musical great during the performance.

As Santana wailed away on his guitar, Bieber sat perched at a white piano as he showed not only his amazing talents as a singer, but also as a musician who is seasoned well beyond his short 17 years of age.
